you’re dealing with: If it’s acetate, rayon, or silk, your velvet is too
delicate for a home cleaning. Have a professional clean it.
If your velvet is made with cotton or polyester, a careful
application of a store-bought upholstery cleaner, such as Woolite or
Bissell should do the trick. Before you use any chemical on the
material, test it on an unobstructive section of the fabric to ensure that the
